Not everyone can give $360 a year — but everyone can give time. ISSB recognizes that your service to the masjid is just as valuable as your dues, and this waiver honors that.
Membership is annual. Just as dues are $360 per year, volunteer hours reset each calendar year — complete 24 verified hours within the year to qualify. Hours and donations can be combined toward the same year’s requirement.

Assist with Jumu'ah setup, parking management, sound system, and welcoming worshippers at the door.
Teaching assistant, classroom support, curriculum prep, or event coordination for our Islamic Sunday School.

Cleaning, repairs, groundskeeping, and general upkeep that keeps the masjid in excellent condition.

ISSB bylaws require Registered Members to be over 18 when joining. This is kept private for eligibility verification.

ISSB collects identification documents only to verify membership identity, confirm eligibility, and protect the integrity of membership and voting records. Access is limited to authorized reviewers. Identification documents are kept securely only while needed for active membership, a pending membership decision, dispute, audit, or legal requirement. When they are no longer needed, they are deleted or securely destroyed.
